pHd3 designed and project managed the installation of memorable, meaningful interpretives to coincide with the arrival of the cheetah.
The idea of movement and lightness was adopted and the final design was inspired by a hanging mobile made of CDs. The discs were cut from signex and laminated around beaded wire allowing them to spin freely. Carrying 'bites' of information, the discs also allowed us to play with different finishes, including sandpaper and mirror.
Seeing the children interacting with the finished exhibit was testament to the success of the project. And best of all the story of this endangered species gets told.
