Paneton is, unapologetically, a very French bakery in New Zealand baking traditional 'ready to eat' product, as well as 'ready to bake' and 'ready to rise' products. The brand and packaging comprise a logotype that appears 'proven' (the part of the baking process where the bread expands, before going in the oven), hand written typography that you might find in a market, and stripes (also hand drawn) evocative of napkins, baker's aprons and French ticking.
Colours are distinctly muted and 'bakery' and a small drawing of an old French bakery van with the words "J'aime beaucoup Paneton!" (I really love Paneton!) has a certain 'je ne sais quoi'. We deliberately avoided le tricolor of the French Flag.
