Brand identity and packaging

Whitestone Cheese is an award-winning artisan, cheesemaker based in Oamaru.

Having created the previous brand identity for Whitestone in 2005, the brand, packaging, marketing and advertising material was refreshed late last year, to bring a softer, friendlier, more dairy look and feel to the brand, while retaining the Whitestone silver and round label shape.

There was also a opportunity to optimise labeling for new packaging equipment.

Whitestone has a following of loyal customers, so it was essential that the new work was an evolution, rather than a wholesale change and that the brand and packaging remain clearly differentiated from their competitors.
